My little Lindsay a.k.a "the tank" is already 6months old and she has developed quite the personality. Her hip displasia is pretty much resolved but may have slowed down her ability to roll over but it will come with time. We go back to the orthopediac again for xrays next week and will probably have to continue followups up through grade school but for the most part she is considered 'cured'. Seemed just like yesterday we were making every-other-week visits to UMASS for rounds of ultrasounds & xrays - And good riddens to that brace she had to wear 24-7. Its amazing what doctors can do when a problem is caught right away. We are definetly thankful to that pediatric doctor who just happened to catch a click in her hip when she was less than 24hrs old and had us follow up on it. If Lindsay's non-existant hip sockets went undetected she would have been in casts from her hips down to her feet today.
